Warranty
Each grill is expertly designed and crafted for maximum durability and long-term use, but we understand that irregularities can occur during the manufacturing process on rare occasions. Gourmetpots.com warrants that all Gourmetpot components and accessories sold are free of defects (in both material/parts and assembly) during normal use for one year. This limited one-year warranty begins on the original date of purchase and applies only to the original purchaser.
The one-year limited warranty does NOT apply to damage caused by:
• Shipment of the grill and/or accessories
• Abuse or use of the grill for purposes other than those for which it was designed
• Improper installation or lack of regular maintenance/upkeep
• Accidents or natural disasters
• Unauthorized attachments or modifications
• Normal wear and tear caused by regular use and service, including cleaning (i.e. scratches, dents, dings, chips, dull finish)
• Weather or atmospheric conditions (including repeated exposure to elements resulting in rust or oxidation)
In the applicable warranty period of one year:
• If a grill component or accessory is found to be defective, Gourmetpots.com will replace the defective part at no cost. The customer will be responsible for any shipping charges that may be incurred.
• If a major defect renders the grill unusable, Gourmetpots.com will replace the defective grill at no cost. The customer will be responsible for shipping costs incurred by returning the defective grill, as well as any other incidental and consequential costs. Gourmetpots.com is not liable for any freight costs, packing costs, or state sales taxes.
• In no event shall the liability of Gourmetpots.com exceed the purchase price of the grill.
Beyond the applicable warranty period of one year:
• GourmetPot accessories sold are free of defects during normal use for one year, metal components free of defects during normal use for five years, and ceramic parts free of defects during normal use for ten years. If the products are found to be defective after the above applicable warranty period, the customer is responsible for the replacement of the product and any other costs associated with the product's replacement.
• In the case of a major defect that renders the grill unusable, customers can elect to send the product to Gourmetpots.com for repair. Customers are responsible for any costs incurred, including service and labor charges, installation and any other incidental or consequential costs of repair. If repair is determined to be unfeasible, the customer may elect to replace the defective product. The customer is responsible for any costs associated with the product's replacement. Gourmetpots.com will not be liable for any freight costs, packing costs or state sales taxes involved in the repair or replacement of the product.
• In no event shall the liability of Gourmetpots.com exceed the purchase price of the grill.
Submitting Proof of Product Defect:
In the case of ANY defect (whether minor or major), the customer must submit proof of purchase and photographic evidence of defect along with the warranty claim. Gourmetpots.com requires photographic proof of the product's defect to determine the most efficient resolution.
